As the world's Polonia marks the 226th Anniversary of Poland’s May 3, 1791 Constitution, the second oldest Democratic Constitution in the world, you are invited to attend the events taking place in Philadelphia and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

As the Polish American community of Delaware County, Pennsylvania marks the 226th Anniversary of Poland's May 3, 1791 Constitution, the Second Oldest Democratic Constitution in the world, we are pleased to welcome Adam Smolij as our guest speaker.

Our speaker for the May 3rd celebration, Adam Smolij, was born in 1997, and was raised in the Polish neighborhood of Port Richmond in Philadelphia, where he still lives. Attending Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School as part of the Class of 2015, he is currently a student at Temple University, majoring in History. Outside of school, he enjoys flying gliders as a member of the Philadelphia Glider Council, continuing his high school sport of rowing with a club on the Schuylkill River, and reenacting with the World War II Polish Living History Group.

Polish Constitution Day Observance, sponsored by the Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District, takes place at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. beginning with a Mass at 12:30 P.M. and a Youth Day Program at 2:30 P.M. in the Shrine's Visitors Center. Featuring performances by Adam Mickiewicz Polish Language School, Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish Language School, Sloneczniki Children’s Folk Dance Group, St. Adalbert Polish Language School, Janosik Polish Folk Dancers and the P.K.M. Polish Folk Dancers. Everyone is invited. Admission is free. Info (215) 739-3408.
