Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention and Treatment

This program ensures that qualified women, in the state of Pennsylvania, who are uninsured, or underinsured, can receive the medical care they need through Medicaid. Women of low or moderate income may be eligible for free comprehensive breast and cervical cancer coverage throughout the course of treatment.

To qualify you must be:

  • under the age of 65
  • screened through a PA Healthy Woman Project site
  • diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer or a pre-cancerous condition of the breast or cervix
  • uninsured or have insurance coverage that does not include breast and cervical cancer treatment
  • a U.S. Citizen or eligible alien
  • a resident of Pennsylvania with a social security number
